CONTENTS OF THE BIBLE K-12, GRADES 1-4 (PARTIAL)

THE FOLLOWING PRESENTS AN OVERVIEW OF THE CONTENTS IN THE VIDEOS FOR "THE BIBLE K-12" SO FAR.

Kindergarten Bible begins with an overview of the two large sections of the Bible, the Old and New Testaments (Part A).  Part B describes the organization of the two Testaments into books, chapters, and verses.

First Grade Bible, Part A, provides an overview of the book of Genesis.  It focuses on the story of Abraham and his family, including Jacob and his 12 sons.  It ends with the family's settling in Egypt.
First Grade Bible, Part B, is the story of Moses' life, including his leading the people out of Egypt, through the Red Sea, and on to Mount Sinai.

Second Grade Bible has many parts, which cover the history of Israel from Joshua through King David.
Second Grade Bible, Part A, tells the story of the invasion of Canaan, which was led by Joshua, and also provides and overview of the time of the Judges.
Second Grade Bible, Part B, is a brief review of the evolution of Israel from the time of the Patriarchs to its development, after the Exodus, from a "People" to a Nation.
Second Grade Bible, Part C, describes, briefly, the leadership of Samuel and the first king, Saul.
Second Grade Bible, Parts D through I, focuses on David.
Part D is an introduction to David.
    Part E describes his Anointing.
Part F tells of the period when David was an officer in Saul's army and was close to Saul's family.
Part G includes the death of Saul and the rise of David as a powerful king.
Part H includes the famous story of David and Bathsheba and the beginning of the problems that came out of that incident.
Part I describes the war between David and his son Absalom.

Third Grade Bible, Part A, presents a time line of the history of the nation.

Third Grade Bible, Part B, shows a model of the Temple that was constructed during Solomon's reign.

Third Grade Bible, Part C, describes Solomon's reign.

Third Grade Bible, Part D, describes the end of the Northern Kingdom (Israel) and some of the events in the Southern Kingdom (Judah), including the story of the wicked Queen Athalia.

Third Grade Bible, Part E, provides an overview of the historical background of the kingdoms. It is entitled, "Life Among the Empires."

Fourth Grade Bible, Part A, changes the format of presentation.  Rather than focusing on stories from the history of Israel, the video presents various ideas and concepts found in the Old Testament.  The first two topics are in fourth Grade Bible, Part A.  The first topic is "Creation," and the second is "God Speaks."

Fourth Grade Bible, Part B, discusses "Conscience."
