FIRST GRADE BIBLE BIBLE REFERENCES
I have a series of YouTube videos that I call "The Bible K-12." It is "for adults who don't have a clue what the Bible is all about." Recently, I promised that I would publish Bible references for people to read as they follow the video series. These references are not necessarily exhaustive lists of Scriptures that illustrate or give the background for my talks. They will help, I hope, viewers to begin to become acquainted with the Scripture and perhaps motivate them to explore more about the Bible. This is a bigger task than I realized, and it is going to take a while to catch up to the videos. I hope that viewers will be patient. So this first list is just for First Grade Bible.
PART A
All of the following are from Genesis:
10:32 The "sons (descendants) of Noah"
11:27-32 Terah leaves Ur
12:1-3 The call of Abram (Abraham)
21:1-7 Isaac born
25:19-26 Jacob and Esau
29:1-30:22 Jacob's children (partial list)
46:1-7, 47:1-6 Jacob's family goes to Egypt
PART B:
The following are from Exodus:
1:1-14 Slavery in Egypt
2:1-10 Moses' early life
3:1-22 Burning-bush call
14:1-31 Crossing the Red Sea
19:1-6 Mount Sinai
20:1-21 Ten Commandments
26:1-37 The Tabernacle
End of Moses' life at Mount Pisgah (overlooking the Promised Land) (Abarim seems to be the mountain range and Pisgah was part of Abarim. Nebo was the highest part of Pisgah. This is the best explanation I could find.)
Deuteronomy 3:23-28
Deuteronomy 34:1-12
Numbers 27:12-23
